värld ...

Today is a
day with some distress wich is like made for hitting the road in spite
of that curtains were ment to be sewn. Long walks is not an option
either today as Mimmi still has problems with a leg. The heatwave makes
us explore if there are some more waters in the surroundings.
My nextdoorneighbour and newfound friend suggests Herrtorp Qvarn - a
beautiful place with a restaurant and canoerenting. Here we can take my
canoe eventually for canoeing in the little river! Great idea!
 
 
Our route passes Varnhem, a monesterychurch built by
cisternmunks from France 1152 who settled down here, at that time it
was the biggest church and cultural centre of Sweden.
The immense heat brings us sailing out on the roads again with wideopen
windows in the wavy and beautiful landscape. A landscape that gives my
spirit and inspiration wings and embeds and comforts my heart and soul
like cotton. There is a magic light here I only have experienced twice
before in Sweden; on Gotland and Gotska Sandön - two exotic islands in
The Baltic Sea.
Once again the day is coming to an end and hunger is
catching up on us so we are heading back home.
The result of the day were some emotional and inspirational pictures
for my imagebank.
The curtains will be sewn another day.
